Strawberry Watermelon Popsicles (Printable)

Cool, naturally sweet frozen treat blending ripe strawberries and juicy watermelon into refreshing popsicles.

# What You’ll Need:

→ Fruits

01 - 2 cups fresh watermelon, cubed and seeded
02 - 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved

→ Other

03 - 1-2 tbsp fresh lime juice
04 - 1-2 tbsp honey, agave syrup, or maple syrup (optional)

# How To Make It:

01 - Place watermelon cubes and strawberries in a blender, ensuring all fruit pieces are evenly distributed for consistent blending.
02 - Pour in lime juice and sweetener if desired. The acid balances sweetness and enhances natural fruit flavors.
03 - Process mixture until completely smooth, approximately 1-2 minutes. Stop to taste and adjust sweetness level if needed before continuing.
04 - Distribute blended mixture evenly among popsicle molds, leaving about ¼ inch space at the top for expansion during freezing.
05 - Place popsicle sticks into center of each mold. If sticks won't stay upright, freeze partially for 30 minutes before inserting.
06 - Freeze for minimum 4 hours or overnight until completely firm. Popsicles should be solid throughout before removing.
07 - Run mold briefly under warm water for 10-15 seconds to loosen. Gently pull sticks to release popsicles. Serve immediately.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The natural sweetness from ripe fruit means you barely need any added sugar
  • They take ten minutes to make but taste like summer captured on a stick
02 -
  • Room temperature fruit blends better than frozen chunks straight from the freezer
  • Overfilling the molds will make removing them nearly impossible later
03 -
  • Run warm water over the mold for exactly 10 seconds, no more or less
  • Silicone molds release much easier than plastic ones
