01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
02 - In a large bowl, mash bananas until smooth. Add melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract, mixing thoroughly.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking soda, and salt.
04 - Add dry ingredients to the banana mixture and fold gently until just combined.
05 - Fold in diced strawberries and, if desired, chopped walnuts or pecans, taking care not to overmix.
06 - Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 50–55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center emerges clean.
07 - Let bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
