# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • Ready in under five minutes with ingredients you probably already have
  • The peppermint flavor is refreshing without tasting like toothpaste
  • Way more affordable than hitting the drive through and completely customizable
02 -
  • Peppermint extract is incredibly potent so starting with 1/2 teaspoon is non negotiable
  • Blending too long can make the shake thin and watery so stop as soon as everything is combined
03 -
  • If you only have peppermint oil reduce the amount to 1/4 teaspoon since it is much stronger
  • Making these ahead? Blend everything except the food coloring then add and give a quick stir before serving
