04 - Press a generous layer of the Parmesan mixture onto the top of each salmon fillet, covering evenly.
05 - Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the salmon is just cooked through and the crust is golden and crisp.
06 - Remove from the oven and rest for 2 minutes. Serve with lemon wedges and a sprinkle of fresh parsley if desired.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The contrast between tender, flaky salmon and that irresistible crunch is genuinely addictive
  • It transforms weeknight seafood into something that feels special enough for guests
02 -
  • Dry your salmon thoroughly with paper towels or the topping won't stick properly and you'll end up with a disappointing mess
  • Don't skip the lemon zest because it's the secret ingredient that cuts through all that richness
03 -
  • Freshly grated Parmesan is non-negotiable here because pre-grated just doesn't melt the same way
  • Let your salmon come to room temperature for about 15 minutes before cooking for even results
