Chocolate Dipped Valentine Pretzels (Printable)

Crunchy pretzels coated in creamy chocolate with vibrant Valentine sprinkles, perfect for festive snacking.

# What You’ll Need:

→ Pretzels

01 - 24 large pretzel rods

→ Chocolate Coating

02 - 7 oz semisweet or milk chocolate, chopped (or chocolate chips)
03 - 1 tsp coconut oil or vegetable shortening (optional, for smoothness)

→ Decorations

04 - 1.75 oz Valentine-themed sprinkles

# How To Make It:

01 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat to set dipped pretzels.
02 - Place chocolate and coconut oil (if using) in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth and fully melted.
03 - Dip each pretzel rod halfway into the melted chocolate, gently twirling to coat evenly. Allow excess chocolate to drip off.
04 - Immediately sprinkle Valentine sprinkles over the chocolate-coated portion, rotating to cover all sides evenly.
05 - Place dipped pretzels on the prepared baking sheet. Allow chocolate to set completely at room temperature for about 30 minutes, or refrigerate for 10-15 minutes for faster setting.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The salty sweet combination is impossible to stop eating, seriously hide half before you even start decorating
  • These come together in twenty minutes flat but look like you spent forever on them
02 -
  • Even a tiny drop of water will seize your chocolate into a grainy mess so make sure all your utensils are completely dry before you start melting
  • If your chocolate starts to thicken while you are working microwave it for ten more seconds and stir well
03 -
  • Work in small batches of six to eight pretzels at a time so your chocolate does not start setting before you can decorate
  • Hold the dipped pretzel over the bowl of sprinkles for five seconds to let the chocolate firm slightly before pressing it in
