17 - Juice of 1 lime
18 - ½ tsp salt
19 - ¼ tsp ground black pepper

→ Optional Toppings

20 - ¼ cup sour cream
21 - 1 avocado, sliced

# How To Make It:

01 - In a mixing bowl, combine diced tomatoes, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well and set aside to let flavors meld.
02 - In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and sauté for 2–3 minutes until soft. Stir in garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
03 - Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
04 - Sprinkle chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper over the beef. Stir to coat evenly. Cook for 1 additional minute, then remove from heat.
05 - Warm mini tortillas in a dry pan or microwave until pliable.
06 - To assemble, spoon a small amount of beef onto each tortilla. Top with shredded cheese, lettuce, and a generous spoonful of salsa.
07 - Add any optional toppings, such as sour cream or avocado slices. Arrange mini tacos on a platter and serve immediately.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • These disappear faster than you can say which team is winning
  • The fresh salsa cuts through rich beef like a bright, tangy secret weapon
02 -
  • Overstuffing is the number one mistake and it ruins the whole handheld experience
  • Letting the salsa sit for even 10 minutes makes a huge difference in flavor
03 -
  • Toast cumin seeds in a dry pan and grind them fresh if you really want to level up
  • Grate your own cheese instead of buying the pre shredded stuff for better melting
